Clinical Supervision
Sarai’s Clinical Experience
“Since obtaining my MSW, I have worked with school districts, crisis centers (both outpatient and inpatient), and community mental health clinics. Initially, my focus was on children, but I now primarily work with adults.”
Supervision Approach
“I have strong teaching, research, leadership, and mentoring skills that support Clinical Social Work Associates (CSWAs) in their development during supervision. I foster a collaborative learning environment where CSWAs explore their skills and knowledge. By integrating evidence-based practices and reflective discussions, I help them navigate challenges and deepen their understanding of social work principles. My commitment to ongoing professional growth enhances their learning and instills confidence, equipping them to serve clients effectively.”
Theoretical Approach
“I have been trained in behavioral approaches, which has provided me with a solid foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). As my practice has evolved, I have increasingly incorporated family systems and client-centered approaches, including parts-work and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).”
